To support ALL of our children with their social, emotional and academic needs.
Park Street School Counselor Offers:
Teaching a guidance curricula in kindergarten classrooms weekly and all other classrooms on a biweekly basis.

Park Street School Peer Mediators/Captains 2008-2009
10 fifth graders (chosen by their teachers & school counselor) offer their peers an alternative to solving their disputes. Peer mediators use a script, role model listening skills and problem solving skills as part of the process. Their office hours are during lunch/recess from 12:00-12:45. Students, deputies and teachers are able to make referrals. The peer mediators DO NOT act as disciplinarians.
Deputy Program:
Fifth graders volunteer in a community service program. They help their peers during recess time by being available on the playground to assist students with any problems and to make referrals.
